    .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..Born in 1975, Amsterdam Holland, DJ and producer Masta Lee didn't know much about anything while growing up except for martial arts, drawing, anime, videogames, music and skateboarding with his very infamous ..Fret Click.. (R.I.P. Mike de Geus). He got his first taste of Hip Hop through dusty dubbed tapes borrowed from the older cats hanging out in the streets, but it was Public Enemy's 1988 show in Holland that sparked serious interest to consume, learn and be a part of Hip Hop culture in some shape or form..... During the '90's, after dropping out of school, he began persuing a career in the art of DJ'ing and soon grabbed people's attention with his personal style through mixtapes, local and national radioshows, club DJ'ing and DJ battles, influencing many young and aspiring DJ's/turntablists along the way. He performed with and/or alongside national acts like Brainpower, Committee Gunmen, The Proov, Extince and international acts such as Wu-Tang Clan, DJ Krush, 4Hero, Black Star, Kool Keith, U.F.O., Common, X-ecutioners, Big Daddy Kane, Monday Michiru, Esthero, I.G. Culture, Beat Junkies, Redman, DJ Spinna among others. The next move alongside building turntable landscapes was to step into the realm of production..... With spiritual mentors DJ Knowhow (A staple in the Dutch Hip Hop-scene) and Japan's legendary DJ 'uncle' Krush schooling him, he learned about the craft and gained a unique sense in producing and composing. His sound was especially well received in Asia and enabled him to release his own material, remixing works, produce music for commercials and score films, in addition to his DJ duties in Europe and around the globe..... These days he's comfortably moving at his own pace, drinking Senseo and ever expanding his vast collection of vinyl records and streetwear...
