Biografía
.. "When I was a little girl I wrote a story about a girl who travelled around the world with her friends. Every night they would play in front of an audience that reached as far as the eye can see. Of course, now that I’ve grown up, I know that this was just a silly fantasy. But there is no crime in dreaming, is there? Here’s the thing; I still have that dream and the will to make it come true. I have been taking singing lessons since I was eight years old in my birthplace Maastricht. I am now nineteen years old and not only physically, but also musically I have grown a lot. I started out singing in a children's choir, until I chose to become a leadsinger at age twelve. I have performed with many occasional bands since then and at age sixteen I started my own band Quiver. I’ve been writing songs ever since. In 2008 I released a solo EP called ‘Search Before You Find’. From september 2008 to august 2009 I studied vocals at the prestigeous Rockacademy in Tilburg. Out here I've learned a lot about all aspects of music: from technical skills to theoretical and historical knowledge, but also knowing how to play the crowd while being on stage or how to do business in the music industry. Now I'm studying Art, Culture & Media at the University in Groningen and I'm working enthousiastically on my brand new act, which goes by the name Elle Alpha.
