Following their performance at The Acoustic Festival of Great Britain in summer 2010, alongside folk legends such as Donovan, Kate Rusby & The Levellers, Acoustic Magazine declared in their October edition that Ghost Trains were 'the highlight of the festival' - commenting on how their 'vocal harmonies were breathtaking, evoking Crowded House at their finest, with songs and playing skills to match.' BBC Music has called their songs 'simply astonishing.' .. .. Ghost Trains are singer/songwriter Tim Ellis, percussionist Jack McCarthy and lead guitarist Paul Dennis. .. .. For a band that formed barely a year ago, they must doing something very right. Since their first ever gig in April 2010, not only have they drawn such passionate accolades from the national media, but other achievements have seen downloads of their album 'Where Lovers Die' surpass the 10,000 mark, European management deals and their first US tour - including a show at infamous Hollywood night spot, The Viper Room, not to mention shooting a video for lead album track Miss Emily. Other successful tours followed soon after - to Russia and all around Eastern Europe, as the band rapidly expanded their fanbase. .. ..
