Purple Crush was born in Brooklyn amidst the early days of post-millenial electro (EDM).
With heavy club beats, twerking flashdance moves, and shredding guitar solos, Purple Crush has toured North America and Europe extensively, opening for Parliament Funkadelic, Steve Aoki, Kavinski, Boyz Noise, Spank Rock, Le1f, New Young Pony Club, Leslie and the Lys, and Ru Paul Drag Race stars, Raja, Detox, and Willam. Purple Crush headlined a Vice Magazine sponsored Germany tour and the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival, performed at LGBT pride festivals in Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, and Palm Springs, as well as the Folsom St Fair.

Purple Crush has produced official remixes for Interscope Records and contributed music to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way". Though their music didn't make the final cut, both Billboard Magazine and Rollingstone ran a story about their involvement. Purple Crush has licensed their music to Japan EMI, labels in France and Australia, Canadian TV, clothing label Paul Frank, and to the movie "The Channeling", which won Best film at Sci-Fi London Film Festival (2013).

Under their label, Crushed Records, Purple Crush has a catalogue of EPs and LPs, with a new full length album coming March 2014: "ICONOCLASSIC".
