    ERWIN ALEXANDER WAS BORN ON AUGUST 20 1971 AT ST CATHERINE HOSPITAL, IN SPANISH TOWN TO LYDIA BREDWOOD AND LEROY ALEXANDER.ERWIN ALEXANDER ALSO KNOWN AS SHINEY CULTURE HAS BEEN IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY FROM HIS EYES WERE AT HIS KNEES,AND HAS WORKED WITH VETERAN ARTISTS SUCH AS BRIGADIER JERRY,FRED LOCKS SUPER CAT, NICO DEMUS, SISTER CAROL,AND THE ORIGINAL KING OF DANCE HALL SHABBA RANKS.CULTURE AS HE IS AVIDLY CALLED BY MANY OF HIS FRIENDS AND FANS,MOVED ON TO ALSO WORK WITH VARIOUS SOUND SYSTEMS.IN THE 1980,S HE WORKED WITH INTERNATIONAL SOUND SYSTEM SUCH AS KING TAFARI,ARMAGEDDON AND THE WORLD RE-KNOWN TWELVE TRIBES OF ISRAEL SOUNDS.AS CULTURE GREW WITH THE MUSIC,HE DECEIDED IN 1990 TO MAKE THE BOLD MOVE OF GOING INTO THE STUDIO AND DO SOME SERIOUS RECORDING.DURING THIS PERIOD,WHEN CULTURE WAS ON THE VERGE OF RECEIVING HIS BLESSINGS FROM THE MOST HIGH,HIS DREAM WAS CUT SHORT WHEN HE WAS SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES IN 1994 AND WAS TEMPORARILY TAKEN OUT OF THE INDUSTRY.DURING THIS HIATUS,SHINEY CULTURE USED THE OPPORTUNITY TO REFLECK ON LIFE AND ALSO TO POLISH UP HIS LYRICS AND FORWARD,STRONGER AND BETTER THAN EVER.IN 2004 SHINEY CULTURE RETURN TO THE MUSIC SCENE, HOTTER THAN EVER WITH HIS HIT TUNES,GOVERNMENT AND YOUNGE GUNZ,FEATURING NEWYORK RECORDING ARTIST NIKEY FUNGUS.SHINEY CULTURE,S MUSIC ADDRESES ISSUES WHICH RANGE FROM,BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO LIFE,LOVE,PEOPLE AND POLITICS.SHINEY CULTURE IS STEADLY RISING AND IS AN ARTIST TO BE RECONED WITH,.
