We’ve got some “Burning Love” for “Breaking Bad,” Damon Lindelof, and the old 1960s Batman TV show. Check out some of this week’s hottest links in TV below!

Hello, Clarice! Hannibal Lecter, the cannibalistic villain of Silence of the Lambs, is coming to NBC in a new TV show. The character was played by the Oscar-winning Anthony Hopkins in the movie (and its sequel, Hannibal, and prequel, Red Dragon), but the production has hired Casino Royale Bond villain Mads Mikkelsen to play the evil doctor in the show. He’ll team up with Agent Will Graham (played by Edward Norton in Red Dragon and Hugh Dancy on the show) to solve murders, using Graham’s FBI skills and Lecter’s serial killer know-how to take down the bad guys.

Prepare yourselves: possibly the greatest show on television – some might argue one of the greatest of all time – is coming back to AMC on July 15th. “Breaking Bad” returns with a brand new season, and if you haven’t caught up on this show, now is the time to do it. The first few seasons are streaming on Netflix right now, and trust me – you have to watch every episode before you can jump into this drug-fueled series. There’s a new poster for the show that has Walter White (Bryan Cranston) sitting on his throne, but it’s a bit different than one you might come across in “Game of Thrones.”

“LOST” fans, rejoice! Damon Lindelof announced that he plans on coming back to television “full-time” to develop new and original shows. He’s had a huge boost in his career over the past few years, co-writing Cowboys & Aliens and Prometheus and producing J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek films, but he’s ready to get back into the daily grind of series television again…whether they’ll be on network TV or cable TV remains as big a mystery now as some of “LOST’s” unanswered questions.

If you’ve been reading fanboy sites for the past few years, you may have come across a rumor of a live action Star Wars TV series hitting the small screen. Lucasfilm producer Rick McCallum says they’ve been working on the show for three and half years, calls it “‘Deadwood’ in space,” compares it to Avatar, and says that two episodes put together would be “bigger than any film [they've] ever done.” Whoa. That’s big talk for something that has yet to see the light of day, but read more about it at the link below and hopefully we’ll see the Star Wars universe on TV sometime in the next couple of years.

Ken Marino has been kicking around the comedy world for a long time, appearing in movies like Wanderlust and Wet Hot American Summer and TV series like “Veronica Mars” and “Party Down.” Now, he’s teamed with Ben Stiller for a new webseries called “Burning Love,” which pokes fun at “The Bachelor.” Other big names like Stiller, Kristen Bell, Ken Jeong, and more are along for the ride, too. If you’ve ever seen even a few minutes of “The Bachelor,” you should check this out because it’s pretty spot-on.

Holy merchandise, Batman! Long before Chris Nolan’s Batman changed the way comic book movies were made, Adam West starred as the Caped Crusader in a 1960s television series. The show was comedic, goofy, and a far cry from the super-serious Dark Knight we know today. To capitalize on the recent Bat-success, Warner Bros. is finally opening up the vault and releasing some merchandise from the old show: everything from photos taken on the old sets to illustrated character art that mimicked the famous animated opening. You’ve all heard that classic theme song – “Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-Batman!” – and now there will be more opportunities to get all sorts of cool memorabilia from the series. Hey, Father’s Day is coming up soon, and some of this stuff would make a pretty great present for all those nostalgia loving dads out there. Just sayin’.
