If you love Green Day and video games, you’re in luck, because the legendary punk band are allowing fans to unlock a new song called “Troublemaker” on the just-released edition of the Angry Birds Friends series.

    .
The song comes off Green Day’s upcoming album Uno!, and while it doesn’t break any new ground, it’s a solid three-chord pop-punk tune that features a chorus that’s so catchy we’re sure it’ll stay stuck in your head for hours, which is also how long you’ll likely end up playing Angry Birds.
    .
In addition to featuring “Troublemaker” the new edition of the game features customized pigs who resemble the band members and ten previously unreleased levels. Oh and if you want to hear more songs from the first part of Green Day’s upcoming trilogy, you won’t have to wait that long, because the disc comes out on September 25th.
    .
So what do you think of Green Day releasing new music via Angry Birds and do you think that other bands will follow their lead? Let us know in the comments section below as you listen to some Green Day Radio!

I'm a huge fan of both Green Day and Angry Birds but I think that its bullcrap for Angry Birds to do this on a Facebook exclusive application. Myspace has a platform for applications as well but they overlook that just like everyone else. I'll be the person to make people aware of this website and its most loyal, passionate, dedicated, everyday user. Myself!
